Appointed Successor\u2014Personals and Other Newsy Notes.HATLEY, Que., June 17.\u2014The following report will give a clear, and consise idea of the work of the past year in connection with the United Church, under the pastor, Rev.J.L.Bodg'son, who after two years is leaving in the early part of July, for his new field of labor in Ontario.The successor upon the Hatley, Way\u2019s Mills and Cassvillc pastorate, Rev.D.H.McFarlane, will assume duty in the near future.Except from the annual report of the Hatley-Way\u2019s Mills pastoral charge of the United Church of Canada for the year beginning April 1st 1926 and ending March 31st 1927.Number of communicants at beginning of year, 102; number of communicants at end of year, 117; an increase of fifteen, of which number Hatley, church claims 14.There are seventeen members on the official board, eight from Hatley church, six from Way\u2019s Mills church and three from Cassville church.One hundred and thirty-five families reported as being under pas-toral oversight, with 425 persons.Fifteen baptisms, five marriages, seven burials and twelve registrations of births were registered during the year.Three Sunday schools, (with a total
