Accidents Involving Vehicles Reported to Police On Saturday or Sunday Although accidents on West- mount streets are noticeable by their scarcity somewhat of a record is believed to have been es: tablished last week-end when \u2018not a single street mishap of any nature whatever was reported to police, Although good roads and efficient police protection result in a minimum of accidents due to skids and dangerous intersections, it is rare indeed when at least four or five are not reported from Saturday morning to Sunday night, Moreover from last Thursday until yesterday but two mishaps involving vehicles where investigated by police and these were so minor in nature that but slight damage resulted, in one Instance it being nothing more than a bent rear fender and in the other damage to the front of a car that crashed into a tree.\u2018Westmount Police, no doubt, are well satistied with the situation if the Examiner's police reporter isn't.Cancel Activities Of Frontiersmen Dut to troops.W.Spear- man, secretary of the Westmount Branch of the Y.M.C.A., who has been closely associated with the soldiers in training at the W.A.G., was kept busy all evening answering querieg and .assuring many soldiers that bigger and | better cowboy songs would be provided for the gramophone which proved the most popular piece of equipment in the Club.Among those present were:
