that Ormstown Weatherman Peter Finlayson has ever seen.This was followed by 12 days out of 19 which produced precipitation so that the total for the month was 65mm or 2.5 inches which is about normal.The average temperature was a cool 14.4 degrees Celsius compared to 16.2 degrees in 2008 and a ten year average of 16.1 degrees.This was the coolest September since 2000.Heat units recorded were 476 compared to 562 in 2008 and a ten year average of 559.Farmers hoped that this month would provide the added boost to mature the grain corn in particular and the soybeans to a lesser extent, since the corn appeared to be 10 to 15 days behind normal.This, however, was not the case.Since May | the total heat units is now 3024 compared to 3173 last year and a ten year average of 3151.The minimum temperature at Ormstown on the morning of September 26, was minus 4 degrees Celsius.\u201cI have never seen a temperature that low which did not kill the corn along with most flowers and vegetables,\u201d Finlayson said.\u201cThe only conclusion that | can draw is that the temperature stayed below zero for only two or three hours and there was some fog which likely helped protect the crops.\u201d While this month seems cool in relation to the last ten years, it is interesting to note that it is similar to the Septembers from 10 to 20 years ago when the ten year average was 14.5 in Ormstown late on the afternoon of September 28.The vehicle was travelling at 122 km/h in an 80 km/h zone on Rang Tullochgorum when an agent gave pursuit and stopped the car on the roadside at 4:30 p.m.While identifying the driver, the police officer observed that Montreal police were actively seeking him under three arrest warrants.These were for fines he was sentenced to pay by the courts for offences in 2004 related to the possession and trafficking of cannabis and cocaine.Apprehended on the spot.the individual, a Montréal resident, will spend 21 days in detention in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.Young man arrested after domestic dispute A 30-year-old man was arrested after a violent domestic dispute broke out in the middle of the afternoon on September 27 in an apartment on Rue Wood in St- Chrysostome.Responding to a telephone call from a neighbour, police from the Haut St-Laurent detachment of the Sireté du Québec (SQ) put an end to a young couple\u2019s quarrel.At the end of the dispute, a 25 year-old woman had injuries to the face from the blows she received.The couple was alone together at the time of the incident.The woman's spouse, who was very aggressive, was apprehended and appeared in court in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield the following day to face charges of assault, uttering death threats and breach of conditions.The victim was taken by ambulance to the Anna-Laberge hospital in Châteauguay to receive appropriate care.Woman stopped for driving while intoxicated A 41-year-old Howick woman was stopped along Route 203 in Très-St- a Pontiac Sunfire, was swerving across the roadway.Police pursued and stopped the car.As they approached the vehicle they observed a woman behind the wheel who was obviously drunk.Arrested on the partiellement rejeté la requête introductive d'instance en jugement déclaratoire amendée, telle que déposée par la procureure de la ferme L\u2019Évasion, Me Nancy Bonsaint.Du même coup, il déclare que
