[" AN > - = me BP At Cem ar a me Ms an - items from around the Valley Council votes to reverse approval The rift on Franklin Council over issuing a water-bottling permit to a local company remains, with both sides continuing to justify their positions before a large audience at the December 2 council meeting.Because four councillors (three of them newly-elected on a platform of opposing the project) are firmly aligned on one side of the question, mayor Pierre Barrière and remaining councillor Sylvain Barré now find themselves consistently in the minority when the issue comes up.(One council seat remains empty pending a by-election.)
