elementary schools in its territory Following years of deliberation and consultation by various committees on French second language education.the Protestant Regional School Board of Chateauguay Valley.at its Board meeting of March 14, put the final stamp of approval on its French second language policy by making a second major decision to realign French language instruction within the Board.Almost two years ago, the Board adopted its Late French Immersion policy for the high school level, and at the recent March 14 meeting.it adopted a bilingual policy of up to 50%, French language instruction for its elementary schools with almost four study.effect from September 1988.The decision was by the Board's Planning proposed Education & Committee.tollowing separate study by the French second Language Study Committee whose mandate was to study and recommend program changes in order to ensure that elementary students meet the objectives of the Ministry of Education's French second
