read and explained in the local Roman Catholic churches last Sunday.The regulations do not place the ban on mixed marriages excepting when they are performed outside the church by some one other than a priest.Marriages performed by magistrates and justices of the peace will not be recognized by the Church after the present Lenten season.The regulations also provide for engagements being in
