December 16.—The names of anarchists besides Reinsdorf and Bach- mann, whose trial began yesterday, are Kuechlen, Rupsch, Holzhauer, Soehngen, Rheinbach and Tolbner.Four counsel are employed for the defence.Rupsch has confessed that Reinsdorf ordered him to tire themine. This consisted of a large stone glass and jar, both filled with dynamite and furnished with percussion caps, Fuse was #ttached, and the whole was placed in a drain which runs across the street about ten minutes walk from Mederwald. He was ordered to fire the train when Prince William’s carriage* wes but fifty feet distant from the drain by applying a lighted cigar to the end of tne fuse.Rupsch asserted that he was unwilling to effect the explosion and only applied an unlighted cigar.Kuechlen upbraided Rupsch and tue latter explained “that the fuse was wet and failed to light.Kuechlen then told Rupsch to place a new tinder in the fuse and explode the mine when the Emperor returned.Rupsch returned to the drain and fastened a fresh tinder to the fuse, but cut the fuse in two about two metres from the charge. When the Emperor returned and was at a proper spot Rupsch applied the burning cigar to the fuse and walked away.Kuechlen was very angry at the second failure and when the [road was clear of the people he removed the dynamite to the grand pavilion at Rudescheim, vere the con cert was in progress.I{ucchlen thereupon sneaked .away aud Tuapsch exploded the Wiynamtte ten —Paces from the pavilion and ran away.He declares he only wished to see if he could not frustrate sleep does not seem to give rest. After u time the patient becomes nervous and irritable, gloomy, his mind filled with evil forebodings. When rising suddenly from a recumbent position there is a dizziness, a whistling sensation, and ie is obliged to grasp something firm to keep from failing. The bowels are costive, the skin dry and hot at times ; the blood becoming thick and stagnant, and does not circulate properly. After a time the patient spits up food soon after eating, sometimes in a sour and fermented condition, sometimes sweetish to the taste.Oftentimes there is a palpitation of the heart, and the patient fears be may have heart disease.Towards the last the patient is unable to retain any food whatever, as the opening in the intestines becomes close, ar nearly so, Although this
