Titre :
The Quebec chronicle
La ligne éditoriale du journal est définie comme suit : « [.] in the management of The Morning Chronicle we shall, therefore, begin by simply declaring, that, as we glory in our connexion with the British Empire, it will be our undeviating aim and unremitting endeavour, to create and foster a cordial attachment to those time-honoured institutions which have made her so illustrious in the annals of the world ». (May 18, 1847, p. 2)

[Traduction]
Voici les différents titres que le Quebec Chronicle-Telegraph a connus depuis ses débuts : Disponibles en ligne : The Morning Chronicle (Jan. 1847 - Nov. 1850) The Morning Chronicle and Commercial and Shipping, 1850-1888 The Morning Chronicle (Feb. 1888 - May 1888) The Quebec Morning Chronicle, 1888-1898 The Quebec Chronicle, 1898-1924 Non disponible en ligne : The Chronicle Telegraph (1925-1934) The Québec Chronicle-Telegraph (1934 à ce jour)

sentenced to be hanged last June in the Criminal Court of King\u2019s Bench in this city, by Mr.Justice Desey, for the murder of Lucien \u2018Morrisette, at Levis, wad argued yesterday morning before the Court of Appeals, according to a Canadian Press despatch, Hon.Judges Carroll, Dorion, Mariin, Guerin and Tellier, presiding. The appeal has been taken on the ground that the preatding Judge at the trial failed to mention to the jury that the son of the accused, who was the principal in the case and who actually shot Morimsette, had been previously tried and found guilty of manslaughter. For this, appellant's son, Romeo Remillard was sentenced to imprisonment for life. His father, the argument showed, had only encouraged his son to kill the victim, and the appellant claims these facts should have been told the jury at the time the senior'a trial took place.Judgment was reserved.10.0.E.LUNCH T0 THE DUGHESS Municipal Chapter Entertaiped Her Excellency In Brilliant Function Yesterday
