Tarlizment buildivgs was present when the first session of the twelfth parliu- ment was opened.The large atlen- dance wus dus to the fact that a new Lieutenant Governor presided and be- vides this, several new mentbers of the Legislative Assembly made their first appearunce in the House, while à new speaker was to be chosen.The invit- od guests turned up in very largo numbers wo much so that a number could not obtain admission, even où | the galleries.| Lignt-Governor Pelletier drove in from Spencer Wood, uecompnnied by his A D Cu Capt.V.Pelletier and Mayor A.de L.Paret, nnd escorted by a detachment of the Q.0.C.H., under command of Capt.Piddington,!
