Titre :
The Quebec chronicle
La ligne éditoriale du journal est définie comme suit : « [.] in the management of The Morning Chronicle we shall, therefore, begin by simply declaring, that, as we glory in our connexion with the British Empire, it will be our undeviating aim and unremitting endeavour, to create and foster a cordial attachment to those time-honoured institutions which have made her so illustrious in the annals of the world ». (May 18, 1847, p. 2)

[Traduction]
Voici les différents titres que le Quebec Chronicle-Telegraph a connus depuis ses débuts : Disponibles en ligne : The Morning Chronicle (Jan. 1847 - Nov. 1850) The Morning Chronicle and Commercial and Shipping, 1850-1888 The Morning Chronicle (Feb. 1888 - May 1888) The Quebec Morning Chronicle, 1888-1898 The Quebec Chronicle, 1898-1924 Non disponible en ligne : The Chronicle Telegraph (1925-1934) The Québec Chronicle-Telegraph (1934 à ce jour)

Harrow, made some Interesting statements in an interview with the lon World representative recently, Dr.Wood told how he had raised the alarm at the Old Boys’ dinner as to the approach of London, which threatened to surround Har row with ‘bricks and mortar and smoky chimneys.’ Loading his visitor to the balcony, Dr.Wood pointed away in the distance to a tall chimney of the electric power station of the Metropolitan Railway : “Ses, that ugly giant was the thing that scared us, Al y on the other side London bas crept near to us, and unless some great effort were made to sheck
