Titre :
Morning chronicle and commercial and shipping gazette
La ligne éditoriale du journal est définie comme suit : « [.] in the management of The Morning Chronicle we shall, therefore, begin by simply declaring, that, as we glory in our connexion with the British Empire, it will be our undeviating aim and unremitting endeavour, to create and foster a cordial attachment to those time-honoured institutions which have made her so illustrious in the annals of the world ». (May 18, 1847, p. 2)

[Traduction]
Voici les différents titres que le Quebec Chronicle-Telegraph a connus depuis ses débuts : Disponibles en ligne : The Morning Chronicle (Jan. 1847 - Nov. 1850) The Morning Chronicle and Commercial and Shipping, 1850-1888 The Morning Chronicle (Feb. 1888 - May 1888) The Quebec Morning Chronicle, 1888-1898 The Quebec Chronicle, 1898-1924 Non disponible en ligne : The Chronicle Telegraph (1925-1934) The Québec Chronicle-Telegraph (1934 à ce jour)

continued taking the Syrup month after month ; but owing to the damp, foggy climate of St.John, my recovery was necessarily slow, although I could observe % gradual return of strength for throe years, during which time I continued taking the remedy. My present weight is one hundred ar ^ eighty-eight, being thirty-eight above my usual.I have no symp.toms left denoting disease. The only notable sign daring twelve months was the expectorâtion.4^°w that has stopped, and I consider myself well. The reader may ask.How do you know your difficulty to have proceeded from ulcerated or tubercu-latod lung t I answer, In the meat certain of all modes for ascertaining. In March last I coughed from the right lung a piece of PHOSPHATE OF LIME, half the size of a pea, which could have come from no other place, and which the highest authority in Lung Diseases (Laennec) states is the result of tubercle, which has h«en owrtd.Added to this, I had the leaden-colored, purulent?blood; streaked expectoration, and the opinion of one of the best diagnosticians in the^country.1! I believe I have experienced ell the symptoms incident to the two first^stages of Consumption, and have successfully combatted them, so that I do not despair of any case where there is left sufficient lung-tissue to build upon.1 I can only add that the mere monstary consideration of increased sales would never induce me to publish this report, but a sin'iere sympathy for the peer Consumptive, with whose misfortune 1 behove it villany to trill».Respectfully, JAMES L FELLOWS, Inventor cf Fellows' Compound Syrup^of’EypophoopkiUs.SOLD BY ALL DRUGGISTS.Wh«n Fellows’ Compound Syrup of Hypophosphites is required, tukfor “FEELOWS^ COMPOUND SYRUP,” And be sure no imitation is foisted or other article thrust upon you.SM' SEND FOR A PAMPHLET 'RR Perry Davis & Son & Lawrence, Agents for tho Dominion of Csnada.MONTREAL.SUBSTITUTES ! ear The public are cautioned againsj^custom_which ofmedicinedolers^ndjvhichri^hi^JVhei^ske^or a bottle of Pain-Killer, they suddenly discoverjhat they are told out.” “but have another articlejuatas good^^JJ^^better/^vhich^hcvjvil^suDgl^Mh^sm^ price. The object of this deception is transparcnt1_Tbeae substitutes arc nude up to sell on the great reputxtiongf the^Paln^KUler^jand^being^onngounded^frii^nlest HalfjvhatJbe^a2*^2I^îllL^£Il!]iîîL£î!£l£i!i£î^2-!î£i^îi enables him therefore to réalité a few_ccnts_niorg_£rofit jjer^ottl^igo^hiMmitatioi^artich^hanJhe^ca^j^he genuine.«a* ? For SUDDEN COLDS Nkuraumo, Rheumatic and Ail othm Pains in any part or th* Body, PERRY DAVIS’ PAIN-KILLER IS UMSqOALLBD.IT CURES ALMOST INSTANTLY.The PAiM-KlU.Ba h eu* up in * o*.and j o*.botUes.retailing at 35 and ,e cant, rwp«cilr«>ty,—Unf hottlw are therefore oh««v*«.SOLD BY ALL MEDICINE DIALERS.BsyS-Lm-sat-dAw TKA.H.68 Half ebseta HYSON.141 da IMPERIAL.828 Hf-obests and B 'XSS QUMPOWDEB.>92 do. de.YOUBG HYSON.806 Hair-ebest 1 JAPAN.121» Box i* OOLONG.286 Half>eb*eu and Moat* OJNGOU.50 & as* OB ANGE SOINTED PEKOE.SPICKS.6 Oases NUTMEG!.86 Bales CLOVES.wirvEw.26 OaSM L.O LANYEK CLARET.14 Balit ) SEEflRT 41 Qr-Oaaks J 19 Pips* 1 ' 1 28 Hnds 11U QrOasks !
