FARM PRODUCE.The building in which these exhibits are displayed, ia at all times well fllLd by visitors, more particularly by such visitors as come from farming districts. In parsing through this building, a person cannot but remark tbe absence of any mark indicating tbe exhibitors of the various specimens on view. The cards announcing the award of prizes were tied upon the winning exhibits, and these were neerly the sole means of obtaining any information concerning ownership. To mention tbese would be merely announcing the prize list, and as this will b« given in another part of the paper, we shall coniine ont description to generalities, except In such cases as may deserve special mention. Moreover, many persons exhibit from twelve to twenty different varieties, and to mention them all would involve a monotonous repetition of names, which the space in these columns at our disposal will not permit. As a whole this class ot exhibits was well represented, and of a superior character.£,Tbe display or potatoes was very large, aud included numerous varieties.William Evans, of Huchelaga, exhibits 12 kinds, and William Lee, of Quebec, 12 kinds. An unknown person exhibited 21 railing is supported by four gothic columns, each of which is garmonnted by a circle compdfeed of four oak leaves and four shamrocks, in tbe centre of which is an acorn.Mr.Whitty also exhibits an ornamental verandah roof trous, also of wrought iron, wbicb is a very neat and tastefnl design, besides being very strong and durable. This truss is self-supporting, and tbe roof requires no other support. The details of both exhibits are well executed, and tbe designs were by Mr Whitty. An extra prisa was awarded to each, TUX CLOSE OX THX EXHIBITION.To-day is the last day ot the Exhibition and those persons who have not yet visited it shoold not allow this last chance to pass by without availing themselves of it, as it is without question an unqualified success. It gives us pleasure to record that yesterday like the previous day, was matked by good order, anJ no cases of theft or pocket-picking occurred.Should this again be tbe case to-day, the exhibition will be a remarkable one, if only on that account, and much credit will be due to the Provincial Police for their vigilance in keeping a close watch upon all snepicious characters.IN THE DRILL SHED.There yet remains much to be said, in addition to wbat has been contained in our previous reports of the exhibits in the Drill Shed. The immense horizontal engine, which sets in motion tbe remainder of the maebipery, is from the establishment of Messrs.Carrier, }jaine A Co., the well-known foundry proprietors of Quebec and Levis. It is 20-horse power and woiks with wonderful ease and smootbutss, so much so, that scarcely » sound is made by its motion. In fioish this engine probably surpasses any others that baye been built in this city, and it is almost uupepessary, therefore, to state that its makers have been «warded the first prixe. It is supplied with «n expansion valve, by means of which the supply of steam may be regulated to tbe requited extent, in'order to affect tbe capacity and power of the engino. The steam chest of this engine is covered with glass, in order to show the workings of the valves within. In connection wjth this engine, Messrs.Carrier, Laine A Coï, have erected 72 feet of shafting, for the
