des Statuts Refondus pour le Pas-Canada, et dans l'acte des 27 et 28 Vict., chap.40, indiquant distinctement tous les lots de terra de chaque cité, ville, village, paroisse, canton ou partie d'iceux, compris dans la circonscription du bureau.\"2107.Ce plan doit être accompagné d'une copie d'un livre de renvoi dans lequel sont insérés : J.Une description générale de disque lot de terre j>orté sur lo plan ; \" 2.Le nom du propriétaire de chaque lot autant qu'il est possible de s'en assurer ; \"3.Toutes remarques nécessaires pour faire comprendre le pian.\" Chaque lot de terre sur le plan y est indiqué par un numéro d'une Reule série, qui est inscrit dans le livre de renvoi pour y désigner le même lot.\" 2108.Après que copie des plans et livres de renvoi a été déposée dans un bureau d'enreg's-trament pour toute sa circonscription, et qu'il a été donne avis par proclamation tel quo mentionné en l'article 2104, le numéro donne à un lot-sur le plan et dans le livre de renvoi est la vraie description de ce lot et su flit dans tout document que'conque ; et toute partie de ce lot est suffisamment designée en déclarant qu'elle fait partie de ce lot et en indiquant à qui elle appartient, «vec ses tenants et aboutissants ; et tout terrain compost'' do parties de plus d'un lot numéroté est suffisamment désigné en déclarant qu'il est ainsi composé, et en indiquant qu'elle partie de chaque lot nu m -roté il contient.\" La description d'un immeuble dans l'avis d'une demande en ratification de titre, ou dans l'avis d'une vente par le shérif, ou par licitatim forcée, ou de tonte autre vente ayant les effets du décret, ou dans telle vente ou jugement de ratification, ne sen censée suffisante que si elle est fa;.te con-formément aux prescriptions du présent article.\" suporinten-dance, a correct plan of each city, town, incorporated village, parish, township, or part thereof, in each county or registration division in Lower Canada, with a Book of Reference to oaoh such plan ; that each of the said plans and Books o: Reference shall be made up to some precise date, up lo which it shall bo corrected as far as possible, and this date shall be marked upon it, and itshali be signed by the said Commissioner, and remain of record in his ollioa ; that a copy of each such plan and Book of Reference, certifiod by the Commissioner of Crown Lands, shall be deposited hi the offi:e of the Registrar in whose county or registration division the place to which thoy refer is situate, and shall their romain open to inspee-tion oi the public'during o.Ii^e hoars ; that whenever the plans and Books of Reference, with respect to any county or registration division have been deposited as aforesaid, in the office of the Registrar thereof, the Governor in Conned may declare the same by proclamation ; And considering the following provisions of articles 2160.2107.2168, 2103, 2i7ok of reference, a reference to each entry thereafter m ido in the other books and registers affecting such lot, so as to enable any person easily to ascertain all the entries concerning it nude after that time.\" 2172.Within eighteen months after the Governor's proclamation bringing the provisions of'article 2é08, into force in any registration division, the registration of any real right upon any lot of laud within'such division must be renewed by means of the registry at length, in the book kept for that purpose, of a notice describing the imtttO-val lo effected ih the manner prescribed in article 210S, and conforming to the other formalities prescribed in article 21 il for the ordinary renewal o£ the registration of hypothecs.\"An index must be kept for the books use I for the registration of the notices mentioned in this article, in the same manner as the index mur-tionod in article 2131.\" 2173.If such renewal be not effected, the real lights preserved by the first registration have no etlect against ether creditors and subsequent purchasers whoso claims have been regularly regis-te red.\"2176a.Whenever the plan of the lots of land of any city, town, Village, parish, township, or any division whatsoever of such localities, forming part or'any registration division, has been made in conformity with the provisions of Chapter thirty seven of the\" Consolidated Statutes for Lower Canada, and of the act twenty seventh and twenty eighth Victoria, chapter forty, the Lieutenant Governor in council may cause to be filed in the office of tho registrar of the proper registration division, a correct copy of such plan, together with a copy of tho book of reference relating thereto.\" The deposit of such plan and book of reference is announced by a proclamation of the Lieutenant Governor in counc.l.which at the same time determines the day upon winch tho provisions of the article two thousand one hundred ami sixty eight.shall come into force in such registration division, respecting the localities whereof tho plan of the lands has been so filed ; and Irom the date of tho period fixed in such proclamation, all the provisions of the code shali apply to such plan and to such book cf reference, and to all lands and properties comprised in tho said plan, and to all contracts, hypothecs or acts Whatever, concerning or atfecting such land or property, in the Bume manner as if the plan of the whole registration division had been deposited, in conformity with article two thousand one hundred anil sixty Bix.\" .\u2022 Aim Whereas by an act of the Législature of Our said Province of Quebec, basMed in the thirty fifth year of Our Reign, intituled: \"An act to amend the law ro-pooling cad'eB'ral plans and books of reference, \" such as explained by another aot of tho same legislatu a \u2022 passe I in the thirty ninth year of Our Reign, under ehaptor twenty 2000 Mus le chapitre vingt-sixième, il est entr'autres \u2022hoses en substance statué qu'en autant que sont concernés les proclamations qui pourront être émises à l'avenir un vertu des dispositions do l'article 2I6'J du Code Civil ou de la section cinq de l'acte de cotte province, uente-doux Viotoria chapitre vingt-cinq, le délai de dix-huit mois fixé par l'article 2172 du dit Code, pour le renouvellement de l'enregistrement des droits réels est prolongé, par lo dit acte, à la période do deux ans à dater du jour fixé dans telle proclamation.Et attrndu que l'Honorable Commissaire des Terres de la Couronne de Notre Province de Québec, a l'ait préparer, sous sa direction, des plans corrects des paroisses de Saint-Marie de Monnoir, Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Saint - Mathias, Notre-Dame de Bonsecours, Saint-IIilaire, et des villages de Marieville et de Richelieu, faisant partie de la circonscription d'enregistrement du comté de Rouvdle, avec des livres de renvoi qui s'y rapportent; Et Attendu que les dits plans et livres de Bjmvoi ont été dressés jusqu'à une date precise marquée en iccux, lesquels sont signés par Notre dit Commissaire des Terres de la Couronne, et restent dans les archives de son bureau ; L'r Attendu que deî copies des dits plans et livres de renvoi certifiés par le dit Commissaire des Terres do la Couronne, ont été déposées dans lo bureau du Régistrateur de la division d'enregistrement du OOmté de Rouville, et restent ouvertes à l'inspection du public, pendant les heures de bureau savoir: depuis neuf heures du matin jusqu'à trois heures de l'après-midi, chaque .jour de la semaine, les dimanches et jours deletes d'obligation exceptés, ainsi qu'il est prescrit par le dit acto ; Lt Attendu qu'à l'égard des dits plans et livres .le renvoi, Notre dit Commissaire des Terres de la Couronne s'est en tous points conformé aux dispositions du dit acte, toi qu'amendé par le statut de la ci-devant Province du Canada, 27-23 Viot., ohap.40, et aux dispositions du Code Civil du Bas Canada qui s'y rapportent.Et Attendu que le LIEUTENANT-GOUVERNEUR de Notre dite Province «le Québec, de l'avis du Conseil Exécutif de la dite Province, a fixé le vingt-septième jour du mois de novembre courant, oomme devant être lo jour à partir duquel les dispositions de l'article 2168 du Code Civil du Bas-Canada deviendront et seront en force dans la dite circonscription d'enregistrement du comté de Rouville, relativement aux paroisses et villages susdits, faisant partie de la dite circonscription l'Honorable THEODORE ROBI- six, it is amongst other things in effect enacted that in so far as regards proclamations to be hereafter issued under the provisions of article 2169 of the Civil Code, or of.section five of the act of this Province, thirty second Victoria, chapter twenty five, the delay of eighteen months fixed by article 2172 of the 6aid Code for the renewal of the registration of real rights is extended by the said act to the period of two years Irons the date fixed in such proclamation.And Whereas the Honorable the Commissioner oi Crown Lands of Our Province of Quebec, has caused to be prepared under his superintendance, correct plaus of tho parishes of Sainte-Marie de Monnoir, Saint - Jean - Baptiste, Saint \u2022 M athias, Notre-Dame de Bonsecours, Saint-Hilaire, of the villages of Marieville and Richelieu, forming part of the registration division of the county of Rouville, together with books of reference relating thereto ; And Whereas such plans and books of reference have been made up to some precise date marked upon the same, which bear also the signature of Our said Commissioner of Crown Lands, and remain of record in his office ; And Whereas copies of such plans and books of reference certified by tho said Commissioner of Crown Lands have been deposited in tho office of tiie Registrar for the said registration division of the county of Rouville, and there remain open to the inspection of the public during office hours,that is to say : between the hours of nine in the forenoon, and three in the alternoon, every day of the week,exceptingSundays and Holidays,as prescribed by the said Act ; And Whereas, so far as regards such plans and books of reference.Our said Commissioner of Crown Lands has, in everv respect, conformed to the provisions of the said Act, as amended by the statute of the lata Province ot Canada, 27th and 28th Vict., cap.40, and to the provisions of the Civil Code of Lower Canada relating thereto.And Whereas the LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR of Our said Province of Quebec, with the advice of tho Executive Council thereof, has fixed the twenty seventh day of the month of November instant, as tho day from and after which the provisions of article 2i08 of tho Civil Code of Lower Canada shall .come into force in the said registration division of the county of Rouville, îelating to the parishes and villages si foresaid,
